Chilham Bridal offers a service where we try to sell your dress for you.
Your dress will be displayed in our beautiful Kent based boutique, so will be seen by many local brides.
Once your dress is sold, you receive the sale amount, minus our commission. Then you can treat yourself to something new!
How it works
Step 1
Complete the online form below and attach at least one image of the dress- this can be an image of you in the dress or a search engine image.
Step 2
We research your dress based on the information received, and then email you to confirm whether we can take the dress on or not. If it’s a yes, then we include a recommended selling price and our commission rate.
Step 3
If you are happy with our offer and would like to go ahead, then just reply to us via email to confirm. We will then arrange a date for you to bring the dress into us. If your dress needs dry cleaning, this needs to be done beforehand.
Step 4
A contract will be drawn up emailed over to you, along with a copy of our full T&Cs to have a read over. You need to print and sign the contract and bring it with you when you drop the dress in.
Step 5
You bring your dress and paperwork at the pre-arrange drop in time. The dress remains with us for 6 months. If your dress sells, we get your bank details and transfer the sale amount, minus our commission. If your dress does not sell within the contractual period you will need to collect.
